Morfat Chocolate cake
The perfect cake for chocolate lovers due to its combination of rich chocolate cream with sponge cake.
How to prepare:
Υou only need: 400ml (2 cups) of COLD MILK
- Place the first sponge cake onto a flat platter. Dissolve the content of Syrup sachet (No 50) in 200ml (1 cup) lukewarm water. Moisten well the sponge base with half of syrup mixture.
- In a mixer bowl, add 400ml (2 cups) of cold Milk and the content of the sachet No 70. Beat for 5 minutes at high speed until the mixture becomes smooth. Remove 7 spoonfuls of the ready chocolate cream. Mix the remaining cream with the content of the sachet with Scaliettes (No 65) and apply onto the base layer.
- Repeat procedure by placing 2nd sponge and moistening it with the remaining syrup. Apply the remaining cream on the surface and try to cover the sides of the cake.
- Place the sachet No 8-13 in hot water, until the contents get totally liquid. Empty the content of the sachet in the center of the cake. Using the back side of a knife, apply the syrup on the layer’s surface. Leave Chocolate Cake in the fridge for, at least, 1 hour and serve as usual.
