Morfat Chocolate cake

The perfect cake for chocolate lovers due to its combination of rich chocolate cream with sponge cake.

How to prepare:
Υou only need: 400ml (2 cups) of COLD MILK

  1. Place the first sponge cake onto a flat platter. Dissolve the content of Syrup sachet (No 50) in 200ml (1 cup) lukewarm water. Moisten well the sponge base with half of syrup mixture.
  2. In a mixer bowl, add 400ml (2 cups) of cold Milk and the content of the sachet No 70. Beat for 5 minutes at high speed until the mixture becomes smooth. Remove 7 spoonfuls of the ready chocolate cream. Mix the remaining cream with the content of the sachet with Scaliettes (No 65) and apply onto the base layer.
  3. Repeat procedure by placing 2nd sponge and moistening it with the remaining syrup. Apply the remaining cream on the surface and try to cover the sides of the cake.
  4. Place the sachet No 8-13 in hot water, until the contents get totally liquid. Empty the content of the sachet in the center of the cake. Using the back side of a knife, apply the syrup on the layer’s surface. Leave Chocolate Cake in the fridge for, at least, 1 hour and serve as usual.
